Meet The Board


 There are nine Board Members including one NSW and one Victorian Government Representative

Jan Denham Chairman
Jan is a grower and packer of citrus at Palinyewah NSW. Jan has been involved in many aspects of the citrus industry and 2009 will be her first year as Chairman of the Murray Valley Citrus Board.

Trevor Radloff Vice Chairman
Trevor is a producer of both citrus and wine grapes at Palinyewah, NSW. Trevor is a recent graduate of MVCB's Impact on Citrus leadership program and a Director of Sunraysia Citrus Growers Inc.

Paula Gordon
Paula is a full-time citrus grower from Trentham Cliffs, NSW. Past positions held by Paula include education, health, and community services and more recently with Department of Primary Industries.

Tony Fay
Tony is the Board's Victorian Government representative and Senior Policy Analyst, Rural Policy and Policy and Strategy Group, Department of Primary Industries.

Keith Richards
Keith is a citrus grower at Palinyewah, NSW. Keith is more directly involved with his orchard since he has scaled back his involvement as solicitor and partner at a Mildura based law practice.

Jeremy Giddings
Jeremy is the Boards NSW Government representative and holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree. He is currently employed as an Irrigation Officer with the NSW Department of Primary Industries at Dareton.

 

Peter Morrish
Peter works for WHK as an Agribusiness Consultant and has a degree of Applied Science in Agriculture.  As a former employee of MVCB and Riverina Citrus Peter has a broad knowledge of the citrus industry.

Alison MacGregor
Alison is a Horticultural Consultant with Scholefield Robinson, Mildura. Alison's areas of specilaized research areas include agronomy,   chemical efficiency and spray application and drift where she continues to undertake field research and training.

   


Staff & Management

Hugh Flett Chief Executive Officer
Hugh has a strong background in the financial performance of agriculture. Hugh is outcome focused towards the citrus industry issues and its promotion.

Mary Cannard BSc (Hons) Industry Development Officer (IDO)/ CITTgroup Co-Ordinator. (full time)
Responsible for: promoting Total Quality Management, Best Practice to growers and technology transfer.

Tony Bothroyd Field Officer (full time)
Provides support to the IDO with crop forecasting, technology transfer, liaising with growers/packers and providing market information to key stakeholders.

Deb Scott Office Administration (part time)
Deb processes levy information, property registrations, updates the website, and provides reception and general administrative support to all staff.

Sue Chapman CPA Accountant/Public Officer (part time)
Sue is an Associate CPA and handles all the financial and statutory requirements, including audits of Approved Receivers, for the Board.
