The Nutritional Value of Citrus
Citrus fruits and juices are full of healthy vitamins and minerals. A balanced diet, including citrus fruit and juices play an important role in helping to reduce the risk of certain cancers, birth defects and heart disease.

Folic Acid

Folic acid may reduce birth defects of the spine and brain. It also assists the body in the manufacture of mature red blood cells.

Vitamin C

Balanced intake of both vitamins A and C may reduce the risk of some forms of cancer and assists the body in the healing process, strengthening body tissue, blood vessels and bones.

Dietary Fibre
A low fat diet which is abundant in fruit and vegetables produces fibre, which may reduce the risk of some cancers and heart disease. Fibre aids the natural digestive and elimination processes of the body.

Potassium

Potassium is an essential mineral in our every day diet. It aids the fluid balance within the body, giving strength to cell structure and aids healthy nerve transmissions.
